I have my number
Well I got home last night to find an envelope on my desk from the mothers day classic, It was my number and well its 18 not pink but white it will stand out on my bright pink tshirt.
I'm not 100% fit at the moment with a lower back problem I've never had a problem with my back even when I was 270 kilos after losing 110 I'm getting more injuries that ever but thats not going to stop me running or trying to I think I need to visit a chiro now to find one.

The making of the shirt
Well after losing more weight I have to make another new pink shirt last year was 6xl this year it's a 4xl I'm loving the pink had to wear it the other day and did a male thing and went through car lovers to clean the car and got dirty soap on it and its now stained so I will have to make another one. We all do sill things especially being male and all hahaha my wife was amazed it took me that long.
The fist dunk in the bucket and the pink takes hold.

Stir stir and stir some more.

giving blood
It's a funny thing that inspires me this week, one of the guys who delivers products to my work was in a bit of a rush last week and normally he is always up for a chat, I asked him why the rush he was running late to an appointment at the blood bank we left it at that.
A few days later he told me he gives plasma every 2-3 weeks I was intrigued so I sent and email of to the blood bank asking how I go about giving blood / plasma whatever they might need.
Turns out its a simple thing fill out a form met the criteria have ID and that's all they take about 1/2 a litre you get a milkshake and a cookie make an appointment for 12 weeks later (blood donation) and do it all again.
How easy and why aren't we all doing it I say free milkshake and you can save a life easy so I'm on the list to give if I'm able to.
More info to follow on how it all goes and if it's really that easy.

At the show
Well we find our self up on a day off at 7am why the Canberra show is in town and my neighbour has asked me if I would go with her and her 2 kids.
Well never one to miss out on anything I'm in, but I hear you saying what about training and diet. Remember its 2 kids under 10 so ill be chasing them around the show for hours that's hours of walking walking and yes more walking. I'm going to the gym this afternoon for a few hours and not only that I really did enjoy that bike ride it's on the cards for late the arvo.
No running for a few days makes me sad lol oh my did I just say I miss running wow 2 years ago I was lucky to be alive and walking let alone running. I have toe problem that really is painful a few days all Ill be right.
Oh well its almost 8am and they are here time to go have a great weekend all.

Day one
Well I'm thinking I need to start posting what's going on in my life weight work training and getting myself ready for the first 5km run I have EVER done.
After receiving an email asking me to do this blog I didn't realise the classic was only 3 months away and I needed to pull my finger out.
I had set a few goal's before the classic one of which was to lose another 10 kilos before the race, this is going a little slow I have been struggling with my weight and what I'm eating for the last 6 months ideally I wanted to be at about 125 kilos by this time and I'm still at 155 to much work not enough training this is going to change.
The second goal was to be able to do 5 kilometres in under 50 minutes I have done this already well it was on a treadmill I hit 5.1 kilometres in 50 minutes last weekend. I would like to get to 6 kilometres in 50 minutes on the treadmill this leads me to think I can do the run in under 50 minutes this will be a giant goal met.
So today is a fine sunny day in Canberra and I'm going for a bike ride about 16 kilometres in total just to try and improve on my cardioid fitness.
