  1. Hi Dave,
hey I often ride around the lake on a sunday morning with my friends who usually work the drink station at the end of the Mother's Day Classic. So if you feel like doing it again & want some company let me know. I am impressed that there was no wingeing about a few nasty little inclines - particularly the one we affectionately call heartbreak hill that takes you up to the road to the Governor General's residence! (Did you know she is the Patron of the Mother's Day Classic and walked around the Lake with everyone last year? Keep up the good work.

  2. OMG I didn't have the breath to even talk about that series of hills man it was tough are you talking about the one just after the 2nd tunnel from the zoo?

  3. Yes - that is 'heartbreak hill' just the right incline to make is tough and it feels very long. BUT it is a good one to measure progress - what gear you had to use, how puffed you feel at the top etc. I loved the vlog. very impressed at your grip of the technology. How is the foot coming along?

  4. Hi Dave
Well done on the cycle cirumnavigation! It's a damned good effort, and the best thing is you set a goal, worked out how to achieve the goal, and then just did it! And the degree of difficulty was increased by juggling a camera-phone at the same time. Well done and keep going.
P.S. I had blood blisters on my butt for 2 weeks after last year's Melbourne Round The Bay In A Day (210km)! Paw-paw cream works a treat.

  5. wow 210kms now that's a goal to aim for my foot is good but I've done something to my back that is slowing me down really bad at the moment and work is really busy at the moment just did a 70 hour week so I need sleep.
