- At 35 I weighed 267kgs this week the scales read 155kgs. It all began with two events first one I believed that I was having a stroke I rushed to the hospital, the Dr’s at the hospital found they where helpless. Due to being super morbidly obese the CAT scan machine required could not take my weight in fact there was not a machine of its nature anywhere in the country that could support my weight. The 2nd and most significant thing was a simply thing from a dying women my mother-in law it was seven simple words "There is more to life than food" It was then the light bulb went off she was right I decided it was time to make a life or death decision. With help from my gym Flames fitness & a dietician I have lost 112kgs. I'm on my way to reaching my goal of being 100 kilos. It’ not a diet it's a lifestyle change. I used to eat all the wrong foods and never exercised, I try to train 5 days a week. “I actually enjoy exercising, something I never thought I would say.” I'm on my way shedding 160+kgs and at the end this journey I'm looking forward to owning a suit and being able to fly on a plane for the first time. I look forward to the run each year give’s me another goal to reach.
