After receiving an email asking me to do this blog I didn't realise the classic was only 3 months away and I needed to pull my finger out.
I had set a few goal's before the classic one of which was to lose another 10 kilos before the race, this is going a little slow I have been struggling with my weight and what I'm eating for the last 6 months ideally I wanted to be at about 125 kilos by this time and I'm still at 155 to much work not enough training this is going to change.The second goal was to be able to do 5 kilometres in under 50 minutes I have done this already well it was on a treadmill I hit 5.1 kilometres in 50 minutes last weekend. I would like to get to 6 kilometres in 50 minutes on the treadmill this leads me to think I can do the run in under 50 minutes this will be a giant goal met.
So today is a fine sunny day in Canberra and I'm going for a bike ride about 16 kilometres in total just to try and improve on my cardioid fitness.

Hi Dave, it was great to meet you last November at the Mother's Day Classic 'thank-you' function. What a fantastic achievement losing 110kg - I hope being a part of the 2010 Classic helps you lose that next 10kg. We appreciate your committment and help with fundraising. I will be following your progress.
